FAQs

General Questions

You can find the cost of each service, along with a detailed breakdown of what’s included, on our individual service pages for support, hosting, and analytics. Alternatively, our dedicated pricing page shows all services and packages in one place.

We’d recommend browsing our services pages to find the right fit, then clicking ‘Get Started’ on whichever plan suits you. This will take you straight to our contact form where you can tell us a bit about your site and what you need.

Alternatively, if you already know what you’re looking for, or you just have a general enquiry, you can email us directly at ku.oc.latigidnadobfsctd-42f619@olleh, or head to the contact form and let us know what you’re after there.

All payments are handled securely through Stripe. Once we’ve agreed on a plan, and you’ve signed the relevant agreement, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing a payment link to set up your monthly subscription. You enter your card details once, and Stripe automatically charges you on the same date at the start of each month. You’ll receive an automatic receipt after every payment.

DanDigital was founded in Lancashire in the UK, and we’ve lived and worked across the North West of England, so know the area well. With this setup, location isn’t a barrier, and we’re open to collaborating with clients around the world.

DanDigital is fully focused on WordPress support and maintenance, and a library of ready-made Elementor and Bricks templates/components. We also create educational content on our YouTube channel @DanDigitalUK, for other web designers or people wanting to try their hand at building on their own site.

We keep it simple. All communication is handled via email. No project management tools to sign up to, no extra apps to download. Just straightforward email so everything is easy to find and nothing gets lost.

Our template and component library is built for WordPress websites using Elementor or Bricks Builder, two of the most powerful and flexible page builders available. All templates are designed to be easily customised, lightweight, and ready to drop straight into your site.

Maintenance and Support

A support package covers the essentials, like security, updates, and maintenance, to keep your website running smoothly.

A monthly retainer goes further—it’s like having an outsourced web team that can handle almost anything on your website, including updating content or images, adding new pages or blog posts, improving accessibility, optimising site speed, fixing errors, or adding new functionality like live chat or calculators.

A one-off £150 onboarding fee applies to all new support and maintenance clients. This covers the initial site review, setup, and getting everything in place before your plan begins (it doesn’t include work that would be undertaken under a monthly retainer). After that, you’re just on your monthly plan (basic, boost, or power) with no hidden costs or surprises.

If you also take out a monthly retainer for ongoing work, the onboarding fee is waived entirely.

We may recommend premium plugins if we think they would be beneficial to your site. These come at an additional cost, but this is up to you whether you want to purchase them or not. We will never purchase them on your behalf and then expect payment.

We aim to respond to all support requests within the following timeframes:

Basic package — 3 working days
Boost package — 2 working days
Power package — 1 working day (priority)

Please note that standalone support packages do not include billable hours — if you need hands-on work carrying out, this is covered under a monthly retainer or ad-hoc support.

Priority issues such as site downtime are always treated urgently regardless of plan.

No, you don’t have to host your website with us to get support, you can use your own hosting if you prefer. That said, we recommend our hosting – it’s fast, reliable, and allows us to manage your website more efficiently. Plus, it’s 20% cheaper when paired with a support package.
No worries—you’re not locked in. Our retainer and support packages are rolling monthly, so you can cancel at any time. We just ask for one month’s notice to close your package, giving you flexibility while ensuring continuity of service.
Yes! If your website experiences any technical issues or breaks, we’re here to help. Whether it’s a quick fix or something more complex, we’ll work to get your site back up and running smoothly as quickly as possible. For ongoing protection and peace of mind, our maintenance and retainer packages can help prevent issues before they arise. Ad-hoc support is £75/hour.
Once you get in touch, we’ll run through the review and onboarding process to get everything set up. New support clients then start on the 1st of the following month, keeping billing simple and consistent.

We take all urgent issues seriously and aim to respond promptly, giving them top priority to minimise any disruption to your website.

With our Power support package, you also get priority support for all requests, not just urgent issues, putting you at the top of the queue for faster response times and quicker resolution. Our Power support package additionally unlocks a reduced rate for any support requiring billable hours; £60/hour instead of the usual £75/hour.

Hosting

Yes! Your existing domain can be used with our hosting. We’ll make the connection for you so your website operates properly, no matter where your domain is registered.
We guarantee 99.9% uptime each month by using premium infrastructure partners, global data centres, and advanced technologies like CDNs. We manage everything on your behalf to keep your website fast, reliable, and available, with downtime kept to a minimum (excluding scheduled maintenance and external disruptions).
No worries—you’re not locked in. Our hosting package is rolling monthly, so you can cancel at any time. We just ask for one month’s notice to close your package, giving you flexibility while ensuring continuity of service. We’ll also work with your new provider to make sure everything is transferred smoothly.
No. This service covers website hosting only and does not include email. For reliable business email, we recommend using a specialist provider such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. These platforms are built for scale, deliverability, and collaboration, while keeping your website and email services cleanly separated.

Analytics

The analytics we use are lightweight and run directly on your site, rather than loading large tracking files from external servers. This means there are no extra delays when your pages load. Visitor data is recorded quietly in the background, so your website’s speed and performance remain unchanged.
Yes! We’ll help you get started with your analytics. The dashboard is very simple to use, but we can show you the basics and set up email reports so you can read your site’s stats confidently. For more in-depth guidance or advanced setups, we can provide support and training as part of a retainer or on a one-off basis.
Our analytics run entirely on your website, so your visitors’ data never leaves your server. No personal information is stored — visitor IPs are anonymised and turned into unique IDs without keeping the original data. No cookies are used, and no third-party services ever access this data, keeping you compliant with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy laws.
Analytics start tracking from the moment we install them, so you won’t see data from before setup. New visitor activity is recorded in real time, so you can see traffic immediately rather than waiting for daily refreshes.
Currently, there’s no way to import data from Google Analytics or Jetpack. We recommend running the new analytics alongside your existing tool for a short period so you don’t lose recent data and can compare stats if you’re making the switch.
We recommend our ongoing website support, as analytics are included at no additional cost as part of this service. However, if you’d simply like access to your analytics dashboard without purchasing website support, we can provide this separately. Just get in touch and we’ll be happy to sort it for you.
Generally speaking, if you want to track clicks on a link within your own website, use the click-tracking feature. If you want to track clicks on links in emails, ads, or other websites, you’ll want to use a campaign URL.
